License Grant

When you purchase Edda, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the software on your personal devices. This license is for individual use and is non-transferable.

What You Can Do

• Install Edda on multiple personal devices you own
• Use Edda for personal or commercial writing projects
• Receive free updates to Edda, including new major versions

What You Cannot Do

• Share, sell, or transfer your license to others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software
• Use the software for illegal purposes
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices

Refund Policy

Edda is a digital product. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which explains when we issue them and how to ask. Purchases made before October 2, 2026 are covered by the refund terms in effect when they were bought.

Updates

Your purchase includes free updates to Edda for the platforms you bought, including new major versions. Edda 5.0 and later are free updates for every Edda 4.x license.

Disclaimer

Edda is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this software. You are responsible for backing up your own data.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Edda after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
